International Compliance Systems, Inc. is a software development company that specializes in assisting organizations to manage accountability for global compliance (internally and externally). We were incorporated in 1998 and our core team has more than 15 years of experience in helping organizations to better understand and improve their compliance. This is a largely untapped application sector to which we are bringing a new generation of technology. Our Enterprise Compliance Management solution (ECM) is a comprehensive intranet/internet compliance solution that emphasizes accountability throughout every level of a company, educational institution, health care provider, or government organization. We are located in New Bedford Massachusetts, on the Southeast Coast, 40 minutes south of Boston and 30 minutes east of Providence Rhode Island.
Java Software Engineer
As our Java Developer, your first challenge will be understanding the existing Java objects and object model, then optimizing that model as we shift to newer, more flexible technology. You will leverage skills in UML (defining user cases and how users will interact with the system). You'll help drive the migration from the current design that incorporates Java Servlets into our new product suite based on Java Server Faces (JSF), AJAX and Oracle's Application Development Framework (ADF). The ideal candidate has significant expertise with creating dynamic JSF applications and can help drive our intellectual capital in this area. You should be adept with JSPs and Oracle JDeveloper or similar Integrated Development Editor. We'd expect that after 4 weeks you will fully understand our existing development environment and will have begun work on a new design. At 8 weeks you'll be immersed in the build stage of the proposed design.
