International Compliance Systems, Inc. is a software development company that specializes in assisting organizations to manage accountability for global compliance (internally and externally). We were incorporated in 1998 and our core team has more than 15 years of experience in helping organizations to better understand and improve their compliance. This is a largely untapped application sector to which we are bringing a new generation of technology. Our Enterprise Compliance Management solution (ECM) is a comprehensive intranet/internet compliance solution that emphasizes accountability throughout every level of a company, educational institution, health care provider, or government organization. We are located in New Bedford Massachusetts, on the Southeast Coast, 40 minutes south of Boston and 30 minutes east of Providence Rhode Island.

Oracle Database Developer

As our Oracle Database Developer, your first assignment will be to modify the existing Entity-Relationship Diagram based on current design requirements within 4 weeks. To hit the ground running, you will need expertise in data modeling Oracle Databases 8i - 10g, OC4J, Oracle Application Server, and PL/SQL. You'll work within a small development team to enhance and further develop our ICS application suite through effective schema design and supporting procedures, and objects, including OAS Single Sign-on. To support our Java Developers, you'll create database access SQL and other database objects (triggers, procedures, functions, sequences, etc.). In our small team environment, you'll succeed by communicating effectively with peers displaying an extreme joy for database technologies. We are building applications for Compliance, an industry that has not used technology in such a sophisticated a manner. Join us and help blaze that trail.

Position Highlights:
-Responsible for designing architecture for an organization on an enterprise level.
-Provides problem anticipation, and problem solving ability to client organizations.
-Consults with users to identify current operating procedures and to clarify program objectives.
-Reviews, analyzes, and modifies programming systems including coding, testing, debugging and installation to support client organizations.
-Provides expertise in application and systems software. Performs database performance tuning and sizing optimization.
-May be knowledgeable in Reliability-Centered Maintenance principles and methodology.
-Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
-Assists with data analysis and deliverable preparation.
-A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
-Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

Minimum Education: BS/BA or equivalent experience.

Status: Regular, Full-time

Citizenship: Must be a United States Citizen, or legal US resident.

Clearances: Possess or ability to obtain Government Security Clearance
